The Governor's Mask Mandate was lifted on 4.9.2021. We want to update you on what we are currently doing to provide safe, reliable services to you. We are asking our patients to do the following:

1. Always bring a face covering to wear in the office. Leave it on until you are asked to remove it, if necessary, to provide care to you.
• UPDATED MASK POLICY AS OF 4-10-2021:
  All patients and staff are required to wear masks/face coverings at all times while in our office. If you are having a facial procedure or injectables, you may remove your mask after being taken to your procedure room. If you are unable to wear a mask or facial covering for allowable exceptions, please call us at 256-536-4448 when you arrive.  A nurse will call you to come in when your room is ready for you.
2. Please come to your appointment by yourself. If you have a driver, we ask that he or she remain in the car until you have completed your visit. If you have a significant other that needs to meet with you and your physician plan to give that person a call to come in when you have been taken to your exam room. This is necessary to assure that we can maintain the proper social distancing that is recommended by the Alabama Department of Public Health. You may be asked to wait in your vehicle, as well, if we do not have adequate room to see you when you first arrive at the office. We are working efficiently to assure that your wait time will be as short as possible.
3. **NEW PROCEDURE:
   Doors to both the Plastic Surgery Center and Skin Health and Laser Departments will be open.  Simply go to the front desk of either for your appointment check-in.  If you have or have recently had a respiratory, or gastrointestinal illness, have shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, fever, sore throat, weakness, extreme fatigue, or other health symptoms please give us a call to reschedule your appointment.

We are committed to keeping the office cleaned and sanitized for your safety and comfort. Each shared area is cleaned regularly throughout the day. Patient rooms are cleaned and disinfected between patients. There is hand sanitizer readily available in multiple locations throughout the office. We are continuing to diligently work to keep you, the staff and physicians safe during what is hopefully the final leg in this battle against COVID-19! We are all in this together!!
